I just subscribed to the feed for actions on H.R. 1120 (the social networking bill before congress). You can find feeds on house and senate actions on bills over at OpenCongress.org.

Yet another new idea I feel bad about not coming up with myself. RSS could be the perfect way to put together a legislative history… as long as all the resources related to each step have feeds attached to them.
Well, don’t for a moment think that I came up with the idea to subscribe to this feed (let alone come up with the idea of creating feeds to legislative actions!). I simply follow other people’s good ideas (in this case, an NPR reporter who was interviewing the site’s founder).
Now, if I could only figure out how to role together the feeds for the bill itself and the mentions of the bill in the news and blogs…
