About Me

Hi, I’m Iris, and I’m a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Carleton College. I chose Pegasus to represent me because he represents many aspects of my ideal Instruction Librarian Self. You can find out more about my professional self (particularly the “What I’ve Been Up To” tab), which is entangled with but still mostly distinct from my online self.

When I’m not working or online (so, for a good couple of hours here and there) I read, sing, make yarn, knit, go swing dancing, weave, or write (as long as it’s not for formal publication … I appear to be allergic to formal writing).

I’d love to hear from you. You can email me at my gmail address, ijastram.
