I play the bagpipes and, for many, many years have done so for one of Canada's Highland Regiments: the Essex & Kent Scottish, the Black Watch and the Calgary Highlanders. Needless to say, I have experienced my share of Remembrance Day ceremonies.... some good, some bad.
